David began his career in the staffing industry in 1992 after receiving his BBA in marketing from Georgia Southern University. David formed SelecSource in 1997. David has worked with hundreds of hiring managers gaining a unique understanding of what employers look for in talent. He also understands the power of compassionately engaging with job seekers to optimize their chances to grow and prosper.
SelecSource established its roots with operations in Atlanta. Over the course of its existence, they are recognized as a leader in staffing solutions throughout the Southeast with a large footprint in Georgia. David is married to April, who is also a Georgia Southern grad. Together, they have a 21-year-old daughter, Lindsay, attending UGA and a 19-year-old son, Will, who attends Georgia Southern. David is deeply involved in several charitable causes both personally and through SelecSource. Also, he has served in multiple capacities at the American Staffing Association.
Salvatore (Sam) Mula began his career with SelecSource Staffing in 2013, working as the primary specialist in cost-per-unit programming. It was here the design for a “new age of staffing operations” was formulated and executed. Throughout the years Sam has worked within the entire Georgia and surrounding markets overseeing the design and operations of major staffing, logistical and safety programs set for a vast array of clientele. It is our drive to “train our replacements,” and lead by the “Servant leadership methodology” that has carved the path for SelecSource to become one of the top employers in the southeastern staffing market.
Joe began his career working in public accounting in Columbus, Ohio after graduating from Ohio University. He passed the CPA exam in 1989 and shortly thereafter moved to Georgia. His first job outside of public accounting in Georgia was for a staffing company (now Staffmark) and a staffing technology company (now Bond International). He has served as controller and chief financial officer for several technology and architecture/engineering firms before beginning his work with SelecSource in 2015.
Joe has a son, two daughters and three grandsons that keep him busy, but he also does volunteer work with several nonprofit organizations in the Atlanta area.
Wanda moved to Atlanta in August 1990. Newly married and in a new area she was thrilled to begin her personal life and career. She graduated from Lander College focusing on a career in education, but soon began her staffing career. She started answering phones for a small staffing service in Tucker, GA and stumbled in the growing staffing industry. Wanda quickly realized that helping people with their career path and supplying customers with qualified applicants was not only challenging but rewarding.
Currently, Wanda possesses over 10 years of human resources and organizational development experience. Wanda’s experience includes recruiting, operations, managing, and organizational development, training and development, and leadership and management coaching.
Wanda is passionate about helping her team make the most of their resources and talent while helping her colleagues make the most of their search for talent. In addition to her accomplishments in HR, Wanda is a CSP (Certified Staffing Professional) and stays current on safety, compliance, and benefits from educational seminars and workshops.
She will be celebrating 15 years with SelecSource Staffing in 2018. She enjoys spending time with her family and one of her proudest accomplishments is her three children Brianna, Taylor, and Trey.
Renee Harris-Evans is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a BBA in Business Management. Renee has excitedly been in the staffing industry since 1988, joining SelecSource in 2001. During her tenure, she has developed a systematic approach that is seamless and mostly error free. Through many different roles in the accounting team over the years, she currently serves as the Director of Payroll/ Billing. She is very thorough, ensuring the billing and payroll cycles are exact each week. Building and maintaining trust with getting it right every time has always been of utmost importance. In choosing to do things “right” the 1st time, her motto is “there are no short cuts”.
A native of Chicago, Renee has been married for 30 years and has 2 children and a Westie named Baer. Renee and family walk regularly to stay fit and healthy. They volunteer and serve throughout the year and is always mentoring young people.
