That’s why we have launched our new Technical Workforce Division. With the addition of this branch to our business, we will be able to offer employees job opportunities in this specialized field and provide employers with top talent to expand their businesses. The new Technical Workforce Division will offer businesses and employees an opportunity to work in atmospheres that focus on Engineering, IT Infrastructure, Software Development, and Data & Analytics for companies across the state.
The importance of the technical division lies within the evidence that society is becoming more technologically based. As businesses increasingly rely on data and technology for everyday business operations, the demand for IT professionals continues to rise as well. Demand for tech jobs is more resilient than the national average, with tech job listings down 5.8% from the same time last year compared to a 15.2% drop across all job listings. We predict that this demand only continues to grow over time.
SelecSource’s goal for the new technical division is to provide workforce management solutions for this specialized field, taking the guesswork out of both hiring and job searching.
